Don't be shy, say Hi!
Welcome to share puppies pictures with me.

I’m Raven(Jingfei), a boston-based creative designer and interactive installation artist.
I enjoyed being a multi-focus person(sometimes it's hard), hope you are too.
Over the past 3 years, I have worked with startups in the
e-commerce, insurance, Web3, and agency spaces helping build their MVPs and develop visual identities.
Outside my design practice, I have taught Interactive installation as a faculty at RISD, and am an engineer working at Providence Children's Museum.
Why Design
I believe design has the superpower to change the way we see and interact with the world. Starting from traditional sketching, and painting, I know the muse of how beauty can influence people. I enjoyed sitting down and letting my mind flow with the beats of the air. Design is not like art. Art makes me understand myself, design makes me understand other people and the world.
I embrace my skills and the willingness to make connections. I find my passion in connecting with the world through design, and I am still expanding.
Career Philosophy
I’m an innovative designer who dances with my work—literally and metaphorically. When I talk about dance, I mean it. I see every movement as a form of design—whether it's in my creative process or in conversation. Movement is a sculpture shaped by people, just like design.
Driven by curiosity, I’m a designer through and through. Research is my go-to tool when I face complex, unfamiliar challenges. It helps me navigate the unknown and fuels my creativity.
I gained this ability while in school, playing with electronic components I had never encountered before but still managed to utilize them in my projects.

I never turn down a project before I try my best.
So what do I do when I am not designing?
I enjoy sports the same way I enjoy design—both are expressions of movement and intention. When I play sports, I design my motions. When I dance, I see the music.
A personal highlight: my team and I won 1st prize at the World of Dance competition—feel free to check it out!

Most of the time I enjoyed sitting in my studio alone, coding, and hacking interesting artifacts. Could be small, could be huge. I love to bring funky, weird things to my friends & clients, glad they don't hate me. (haha)
